Conditions for Access and Selection of Candidates
The first 40 applications (2 classes, 20 students in each class) will be automatically accepted on a first come first served basis.

Conditions of Functioning
- Contact hours – 40 hours (classes every day from 9:00am to 1:00pm);
- Two Master Classes – 2 hours each (on Friday, September 02nd, from 9:00am to 11:00am and on Thursday, September 08th, from 9:00am to 11:00am). The Master Classes (which can be presented by a different teacher than the language teacher of everyday classes) will focus on showing students the richness of the Portuguese cultural, historic and literary heritage. Students will engage in an audio-visual experience including music and video;
- Three cultural visits to important sites and monuments in Lisbon – 3 hours each (Wednesdays and Friday in the afternoon). The cultural visits help acquaint students with the historical narrative of the Portuguese people and are an opportunity to get a closer contact with the living everyday language.

Evaluation System and Certificate
The approval that confers the right to the respective certificate requires a minimum classification of 10 values (in a sclace of 0-20). Teachers may choose another type of assessment besides written tests, namely continuous assessment (always with at least one written element of assessment).
The Course awards 3 ECTS to students who obtain a final positive mark according to formative assessment and final assessment by means of a test.
Note:
The Diploma and the Certificate of Conclusion will have the value foreseen in the Emoluments Table of the University of Lisbon.
Utilizacão das Instalações do ISCSP
ISCSP Facilities
Students admitted to the course may use ISCSP facilities, namely the Library, the restaurant, the reprographic services and the parking lot. To use the parking lot, students will be provided with their own identification card, upon payment.
