"Last week in April I had a chance to come to ISCSP at the University of Lisbon to give a lecture, discuss with students and further develop cooperation between ISCSP and Philosophical Faculty, University of Hradec Králové (UHK). My first impression couldn’t have been better. A warm welcome was followed by meeting with the team of the Mobility Department of ISCSP. We shared our experience and discussed some of the topics related to our cooperation that could be of a benefit for both universities and that could lead to more intensive student´s and scholar´s exchange. After meeting with Professor Sandra Balão I was looking forward to the lectures and discussion with the students. As Professor Balão pointed out specific context that both Portugal and Czechia share, I really enjoyed interacting with the students developing on what we have in common regarding political activism and discourse on the European Union. The biggest surprise was when I met Professor Isabel David. Not only she greeted me in Czech, but she continued speaking Czech the whole conversation. What a brilliant Czech Professor Isabel David speaks. I hope I talk to her again soon and we follow up with discussed research cooperation. In any way, I am looking forward to welcome ISCSP students and scholars at the University of Hradec Králové, so we all at the UHK can treat them as nicely as I was treated at ISCSP at the University of Lisbon."
