Vacancy for two Early Stage Researchers (PhD position)

As part of the activities carried out by the "COCOSO - Cross-National Comparison Of Young People’s Understandings Of Co-Construction" project, developed at the Center for Public Administration and Policies, and funded by the European Commission, two PhD student positions are available, under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) program.

These doctoral students will be hired for a period of 3 years, during which they will receive guidance for their doctoral thesis development at ISCSP-ULisboa and conduct research for the project and the COCOSO network.

PhD 3 - Cross-national comparison of young people’s understandings of co-construction

The secondment will be 18 months at Jovesolides (Spain). JoveSolides has a solid experience of working with young people and expertise in studies on youth perspectives across several countries, which allows access to qualitative and quantitative information, first-hand testimonies providing diverse insights for research. In addition, it can facilitate real settings for direct observation or provide specific case studies for longitudinal analysis, as well as promote connection with communities in vulnerable situations and expert feedback to provide interpretation of data or preliminary findings to ensure that the analysis is consistent with practical reality.

PhD 4 - Multi-actor co-construction in local welfare policies. Challenges, and critical factors in the post-covid period

The secondment will be 18 months at Municipality of Amadora (Câmara Municipal da Amadora) and it will provide access to a range of stakeholders and services which will be crucial for DC4.
